Description

Created in the beginning of the 1970s, the Face series explores a fascination with metamorphosis in Greek and Roman mythology. Finely detailed gold is transmogrified and illuminated by precious stones, symbolising the complexity of human nature and our place in the natural world. "Proportions, emotional expressions, and facial features reflect the creator. Through art we get to meet another person’s soul”, Arje Griegst.

We carefully hand-select each pearl, all of which vary naturally in color.
