LARGE SPIRAL TRAY

A sterling silver 925 tray designed between 1985-1990 by artist and fine jewellery designer Arje Griegst. Made in Denmark, 7 cm high x 15.5 cm wide x 8.5 cm deep. The sterling silver tray is leaf shaped with pointy ends. One end is raised up in the air and curled in a spiral coil towards the centre of the tray. The other end sits on the table and curls downward, then upward. The entire surface is covered in ribbed lines. On the tray are 2 gold spiral rings: ‘Spiral Ring No. 7’ and Trumpet Knot.
