SPIRAL HISTORY
”In the master’s hand the gold comes alive for the marvellous material it is. No one can get the gold to speak like Arje Griegst. Not merely that it always glitters, but gold as a marvellous malleable material with many hues; soft, warm and organic.” – The Bank of Denmark Jubilee Foundation’s Honorary Grant, 1999
ROSSINI RING, 20K GOLD WITH A ORIENTAL PEARL AND DIAMONDS, 1988.
A beautiful crescendo: two twined golden threads to be put on the fingers hold an Oriental pearl shimmering in pink and surrounded by swirling golden ribbons in 20K gold. This is music transformed into gold.

Today the Rossini ring is in a privately owned collection.
PORCELAIN BOWL AND SPIRAL CANDLESTICK.
"Drops in the glazes, twinkling, ocean-like,
and beneath them is the golden light"
- a poem written in the Danish newspaper Politiken referring to Arje's porcelain series. The Spiral candlestick placed in front was created alongside the Spiral rings and bracelets series.
